Body of second missing man found

The body of 27-year-old Christopher Rollins was recovered early Sunday morning, two days after a boating accident that also claimed the life of his friend.According to family members, 22-year-old William R. Druilhet, of Lake Charles and Rollins of Westlake were out fishing Friday and last made contact shortly before 10 p.m.
U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer 3rd Class Richard Brahm said a concerned family member contacted watchstanders at the Lake Charles station at 11:20 p.m. on Friday.
Coast Guard members recovered the body of Druilhet early Saturday morning near the west bank of Lake Charles, about 200 yards southeast of where their 16-foot jon boat was also discovered, Braham said.
“The jon boat was located Saturday at 6:23 a.m., overturned in the water,” he said.
The search for Rollins’ body was interrupted multiple times Saturday afternoon because of severe thunderstorms in the area.
The Coast Guard, Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office recovered Rollins’ body Sunday morning.
“Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of the two men,” Elvie Damaso, a search and rescue controller for Sector Houston-Galveston, said in a news release Sunday.

July 22nd was our 10th Anniversary, I love him soo much, he leaves behind two children; Rhiannon 11 and Riley 6. We are holding memorial at sea wall in lake charles tonight at 8pm and his funeral services will be held in his home town of Hobbs NM later in the week. Thanks to everyone for love and support. My heart is shattered and my children are broken. All that holds us is his love.
