100s pray for safe return of missing Duson teen

Last Modified: Monday, July 30, 2012 1:09 PM

DUSON (AP) — In a park next to Duson's City Hall, hundreds of people prayed for 15-year-old girl Keiosha Felix, who has been missing since April 30.

The Advertiser reports that police first considered her a runaway, based largely on statements from the aunt she was visiting when she disappeared and a cousin who said she had been in touch with Felix.

Last week they arrested 40-year-old Patricia Andrus, 20-year-old Portia Felix and Andrus' boyfriend, 43-year-old Leon Wilkerson. He was booked with rape and second-degree kidnapping. Andrus, Keiosha Felix's aunt, was booked with improper supervision of a minor and accessory to rape. Felix's cousin, Portia Felix, was booked with obstruction of justice.

Sunday's candlelight prayer session ended with the release of pink and white balloons to the song "Amazing Grace."
