Power outages planned in Welsh Monday

WELSH — Power outages are planned beginning at 8:30 a.m. Monday to allow for electrical system maintenance and repairs.
They will last about three hours and affect much of the downtown area, including East South Street, Palmer, Nichols and Adams streets. Parts of South Elms and South Joseph streets will also be affected.
The outages will not affect schools or the nursing home, said town superintendent Rick Matte.
