List of Labor Day closures for five-parish area

The following are closed Monday for Labor Day:
City of Lake Charles offices and its Department of Public Works. There will be no trash or garbage collection. Trash and garbage normally picked up on Monday will be picked up Tuesday. Trash and garbage normally picked up Tuesday will be picked up on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday routes will remain unchanged.
Calcasieu Parish
• Calcasieu Parish Public Library
• Fourteenth Judicial District Court
• Chennault International Airport
• Sulphur city offices. The trash or garbage collection schedule will not change.'
All Parishes
• All public schools will be closed Monday
Jefferson Davis Parish
• 31st Judicial District Court
• Jefferson Davis Police Jury and other parish offices
• Jefferson Davis District Attorney
• Jefferson Davis Clerk of Court
• Schools will also be closed Tuesday (professional development day)
• Elton Town Hall
• Jennings City Hall
• Lake Arthur Town Hall
• Welsh Town Hal
• All branches of the Jefferson Davis Parish libraries
Allen Parish
• 33rd Judicial District Court
• Allen Parish Police Jury and other parish offices
• Allen Parish District Attorney
• Allen Parish Clerk of Court
• Schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday (professional development day)
• Elizabeth Town Hall
• Oakdale City Hall
• Oberlin Town Hall
• Kinder Town Hall
• All branches of the Allen Parish libraries
