South Lake Charles Little League’s deadline for online registration is Friday.

Also, the final opportunity to register in person will from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the Weaver Field baseball complex next to Barbe High School.

These are the final opportunities to sign up for Little League this season, according to Ron Turner, SLC Little League president.

To register online by Friday, visit www.slclittleleague.com.

To register in person on Saturday, bring two proofs of residence — such as utility bills — as well as the player’s birth certificate and cash or check for payment.

The league will also have an all-day field preparation day at Weaver Park on Saturday. All Little League parents and supporters are invited to take part in the activities, which begin at 9 a.m. No experience, tools or materials are required, Turner said.
