A 47-year-old Roanoke man was charged with cruelty to a juvenile, authorities said.
Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesman Christopher Ivey said that Christopher Ned turned himself in on Thursday, one day after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
The Sheriff’s Office received a complaint from the juvenile’s mother on Monday, accusing Clyde of repeatedly striking the child.
“A warrant was requested by detectives after obtaining photographs of the injuries,” Ivey said.
Ned was later released after posting a $10,000 bond.
