Man found shot to death near Basile
Authorities in Acadia Parish are investigating a homicide that occurred in the 4900 block of La. 97 near Basile.
Ruston Miller, 24, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the chest outside his residence around 1 p.m. Thursday, Acadia Parish
Sheriff Wayne Melancon said in a press release.
While details are limited at this time, Melanco said investigators are interviewing persons of interests.
