Does the law requiring all people to be buckled up apply to motor homes?

No.

The law, R.S. 32:295.1, applies to “each occupant of a passenger car, van, or truck having a gross weight of ten thousand pounds or less, commonly referred to as a pickup truck.”

Note: From the Oct. 7, 2009, edition of the American Press.
