Connected in Christ

We often talk about the universality of the Christian faith. Christ died for the sins of the world. Jesus came for everyone that everyone might have a right relationship with God. I wonder how often we truly consider this universal aspect of our faith and what it really means.

This week, we have family from Germany visiting. They speak a different language than us. They have a different culture than us. They like and dislike different things than us, but they share with us the same faith.

It’s exciting to know that there are people half a world away that are family — not just blood relatives, but members of the same faith family.

We are connected in Christ. Thanks be to the universal Savior.
