Jamie Lawdins, 24, of Maude Street in Jennings has been reported missing by her family and Jennings police are now asking for the public’s assistance in locating the young woman.

The family reported that she was last seen at 7 a.m. this morning and is not in a sound emotional state, Police Chief Todd D’Albor said in a news release Tuesday.

Family members are concerned for her welfare and anyone who may know her whereabouts should contact the Jennings Police Department at 821-5513. Lawdins was last seen driving a 2001 brown Jeep Grand Cherokee with Louisiana plates, XRU 484.Jamie Lawdins
