Westlake man charged with fourth-offense DWI

A 34-year-old Westlake man has been charged with fourth-offense DWI, open container and driving while under suspension, authorities said.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said Roger D. Thomas Jr., 2112 Ellis Drive, was arrested early Thursday morning while driving on Interstate 10 near Sulphur.
Myers said Thomas has been charged with DWI three times since 2009.
Sr. Cpl. Dennis Hanisee was the arresting deputy.
