South Huntington Street in Sulphur was open again Monday, less than 24 hours after a water leak damaged sections of the road.
An 8-inch main line under the street broke Sunday afternoon, sending water everywhere and breaking up small sections of the road.
Part of South Huntington, from Cypress Street to U.S. 90, was closed from 2 p.m. Sunday until about noon Monday while the pipe was fixed and the road repaired.
