Vinton man accused of attempted aggravated rape

Authorities are searching for a 63-year-old Vinton man who has been accused of trying to rape his ex-girlfriend, authorities said.
Albert Delassantos Jr., Foreman Road, is accused of second-degree battery and attempted aggravated rape, according to a news release from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office.
The news release said Delassantos struck his ex-girlfriend in the face several times and attempted rape her before family members arrived.
Delassantos fled the home and a search has yielded no results, the news release stated.
