Updated list of holiday closures for Southwest Louisiana

Public schools in Calcasieu, Allen, Beauregard, Cameron, Jefferson Davis and Vernon parishes will be closed Monday-Friday.
Diocese of Lake Charles schools, the city’s charter schools, McNeese State University and Sowela also be closed Monday-Friday.
Classes will resume Nov. 26, except for Jefferson Davis schools, which will be closed Nov. 26 for a professional development day.
Other holiday closures:
Calcasieu Parish
• Lake Charles city offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. Thursday trash pickups will be on Friday. Friday pickups will be on Saturday.
• Parish government offices and public libraries will be closed Thursday and Friday. Garbage collection won’t be affected.
• Sulphur city offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. Thursday trash pickups will be on Friday. Friday pickups will be on Saturday.
• Westlake City Hall will be closed from noon Wednesday through Friday.
• The Chennault International Airport Authority will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Allen Parish
• Parish government offices, the courthouse and public libraries will be closed Thursday and Friday.
• Elizabeth, Kinder and Oakdale offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
• Oberlin offices will be closed from noon Wednesday through Friday.
Jefferson Davis
• Parish government offices, the courthouse and public libraries will be closed Thursday and Friday.
• Elton, Fenton, Jennings, Lake Arthur and Welsh offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
