World-class impressionist offers painting workshop

The Associated Louisiana Artists, Gallery by the Lake at 106 W. Pryce St., is holding a two-day oil-painting workshop under the direction of Scott Mattlin of Denver.
Mattlin, whose art is shown throughout the country, was invited to show his work at the exclusive Hillier Gallery in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon in the United Kingdom.
He is considered one of the greatest contemporary impressionists today.
The workshop will be on Sept. 15 and 16.
