Live @ the Lakefront scheduled for March

The Live @ the Lakefront Music Fest will be 6-10 p.m. on consecutive Fridays, March 8, 15 and 22, at the Lakefront Promenade.
The festival, which is free, places particular emphasis on homegrown talent. This year’s lineup features City Heat with the Barbe Show Choir; Grammy-nominated Lost Bayou Ramblers with John Guidroz on March 15; and Ashes of Babylon with the Lochness Mobsters on March 22.
Live @ the Lakefront, sponsored by the Arts Council of Southwest Louisiana and the city of Lake Charles, will feature food vendors and art sales. No pets or outside ice chests will be allowed.
