Associated Louisiana Artists will hold a two-day oil painting workshop Sept. 14-15 at Gallery by the Lake, 106 West Pryce St.

Impressionist painter Scott Mattlin will give step-by-step demonstrations and provide individual instruction. One day will be devoted to landscape painting.

Class size is limited. Cost is $275.
