Rapides Parish inmate recaptured in Pineville

PINEVILLE (AP) — The Rapides Parish inmate who walked away from a work detail Wednesday in Alexandria was arrested in Pineville.
Sheriff's deputies told The Town-Talk more arrests may be made in the escape of Terrell Jerrod Bryant. He was captured without incident just after 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Bryant was taken to the Rapides Parish Detention Center and booked with simple escape. He had been serving time for a narcotics conviction.
