The following menus for Oct. 21-25 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change. All include choice of milk.
Monday: Red beans, rice and sausage, mustard greens, carrot sticks with dip, mixed fruit salad, choice of chilled fruit and cornbread.
Tuesday: Corn dog, baked beans, potato wedges, apple, choice of chilled fruit and oatmeal cookie.
Wednesday: Baked chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, glazed carrots, pineapple tidbits, choice of chilled fruit and whole-wheat roll.
Thursday: Cubed pork over rice and gravy, vegetable medley, tossed salad, orange slices and choice of chilled fruit.
Friday: Barbecue burger on whole-wheat bun, sweet potato fries, sandwich salad cup, sliced peaches and choice of chilled fruit.
Nachos, charro beans, salsa, watermelon and cornbread.
Chicken and sausage gumbo, broccoli, sweet yams, pears and whole-wheat roll.
Beef shepherd pie, cole slaw, grape combination and whole-wheat roll.
