A Calcasieu Parish grand jury on Thursday indicted a Westlake woman for sex-related offenses involving a 13-year-old boy.

Heather N. Daughdrill, 28, was arrested in Calcasieu and Beauregard parishes for having sexual contact with the boy authorities said.

Daughdrill taught at a summer Bible school camp where the boy attended, said Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kim Myers.

She said Daughdrill had multiple encounters with the boy from June to October.

Detectives allege that she had sex with him after picking him up from school without his parents knowledge.

Daughdrill’s charges include carnal knowledge of a juvenile, sexual battery, second-degree kidnapping, contributing to a juvenile’s delinquincy and indecent behavior with a juvenile.

She is set for trial later this month in Beauregard Parish. A trial date in Calcasieu Parish has not yet been set.
