Two men have been arrested following the raid of a methamphetamine lab in Moss Bluff, authorities said.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said 48-year-old Jerry L. Anderson, 811 Kristy Lane in Sulphur, and 25-year-old William H. Heller IV, 4709 Alamitos Circle in Moss Bluff, have been charged with creation and/or operation of a clandestine lab, methamphetamine possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Heller has also been charged with vyvance, vicodin, marijuana possession and possession of a firearm in presence of controlled substance.

“At approximately 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, deputies were dispatched to 4709 Alamitos Circle in Moss Bluff in reference to an anonymous tip of a possible meth lab in a barn behind this residence,” Myers said Thursday in a news release. “Upon arrival, deputies entered the barn and discovered Anderson and Heller in the process of smoking methamphetamine.

“Deputies discovered several chemicals consistent with the creation or operation of a clandestine lab and also located an active meth lab inside the barn. During further search, deputies also located methamphetamines, marijuana, several types of narcotics, and drug paraphernalia inside the home.”

Bonds for Anderson and Heller are pending.
