A 23-year-old Sulphur woman has been arrested after allegedly stealing items from a vehicle at a local nightclub, authorities said.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said Crystal D. McClelland, 299 Bergstrom St., stole the victim’s keys, which were sitting on the bar, and used the keys to get into an SUV.

“McClelland removed several items including a cell phone, and a purse which contained credit cards, then returned the keys before the victim realized they were missing,” Myers said Thursday in a news release. “After leaving the nightclub, McClelland made over $250 in purchases with the credit card, including buying gas for her vehicle, cigarettes from a local gas station and food from a local restaurant.
