A Lake Charles man wanted for a murder at a local nightclub early Sunday morning was arrested Tuesday night in Beaumont, Texas, authorities said.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kim Myers said Beaumont law enforcement arrested 23-year-old Jordan Mikole Davis, 1835 Rena St., around 9:30 p.m.

Myers said the Sheriff’s Office received information that Davis was in Beaumont and requested assistance from Texas law enforcement.

Authorities said Davis shot 33-year-old Quincy James Lede, of Lake Charles, around 4:30 a.m. Sunday after an altercation at The Keg spilled into the parking lot.

The Keg is located at 4010 Goodman Lane.

Davis is charged with second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His bond was set at $350,000.

He was previously convicted on a drug charge.

Davis’ cousin, 23-year-old Robert Louis Davis, 1701 Legion St., was arrested after the killing and charged with being an accessory after the fact to second-degree murder.
