Police find burned body, could be missing Bossier City woman

MINDEN (AP) — Authorities have found a burned body in Webster Parish.

The Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office, which has been looking for a missing Bossier City woman, made the announcement.

Spokesman Lt. Bill Davis said in a news release Monday that the body was found north of Minden near Bayou Dorcheat. He says investigators are working to identify it.

Deputies in Bossier and Webster parishes have been looking for 46-year-old Ann Bond, missing since Thursday.

Her estranged husband, Robbie Bond, shot himself in the chin just after midnight Friday at an Interstate 10 rest area in Gautier, Miss., after police found him sleeping in his truck.

Police obtained a warrant for him after they found evidence at the couple's house making then believe Ann Bond was dead.

Robbie Bond is hospitalized in Pascagoula.
