Lake Charles man arraigned for alleged sexual behavior with juvenile

A Lake Charles man arrested in Rhode Island was arraigned Monday in state district court on 15 counts related to his alleged

sexual behavior with a juvenile.

Thomas Lee Breaux, 28, is charged with 10 counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile, two counts of obscenity and three counts

of indecent behavior with a juvenile.

Breaux pleaded not guilty. A pre-trial conference was set for Dec. 12 and a jury trial for Feb. 24, 2014.

Authorities allege Breaux had sexual contact with a teenage girl from January 2008 to August 2009.

He was extradited from Rhode Island, where he was charged with being a fugitive from justice, according to a news release

from Rhode Island State Police.

He is being held at Calcasieu Correctional Center.
