Update: Missing woman makes contact with family

JENNINGS  —  A Jennings woman reported missing Tuesday has made contact with her family, according to authorities.

The Jennings Police Department said Wednesday that Jamie Lawdins, 24, had contacted her family overnight.

She is believed to be in the Natchitoches area.

Police are still asking for the public's help in locating her.

Lawdins was last seen around 7 a.m. Tuesday and later reported missing by family members concerned about her welfare.
