A 21-year-old Jennings man is facing more charges after police found drugs in his pants while he was being arrested for contempt of court, authorities said.
Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesman Christopher Ivey said Skyler Authement, 702 Davis St., was arrested Tuesday.
“(Authement) had an outstanding warrant for contempt of court,” Ivey said in a news release. “During his arrest, Authement told deputies he had marijuana in his pocket. Deputies found a baggy of material believed to be marijuana and a smoking pipe.”
Authement was charged with second-offense marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
