Home Show this weekend at Civic Center

The Home Builders Association of Southwest Louisiana will present its 23rd Annual Home Show on Saturday-Sunday, Jan. 25-26,

in the Lake Charles Civic Center.

The show will be open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5. Children 12 and under get in free

when accompanied by an adult.

The event will feature exhibits from more than 140 vendors and thousands of cost-effective ways to design or renovate your

home — including ideas on cabinetry, countertops, flooring, lighting, bathroom fixtures and kitchen appliances.

Home audio, security, mortgage and insurance information will also be available. Attendees can register for giveaways from

participating vendors.

The Home Show is a community event and will include booths from the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, Better Business Bureau and

Habitat for Humanity.

The event will feature a “Children’s Corner,” with coloring and face-painting activities and food booths.

The Home Builders Association of

Southwest Louisiana is a nonprofit group that represents and serves

builders in Southwest

Louisiana involved in residential construction, residential

remodeling, commercial construction and land development activities.

The association is a chartered member of the Louisiana Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders.
