An 18-year-old Hathaway man has been charged with production of child pornography, indecent behavior with juveniles and multiple counts of computer-aided solicitation of a minor, authorities said.

Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesman Christopher Ivey said Michael ”Mikey” Gotte Jr., Pondarosa Road, was arrested Monday.

“We began an investigation after receiving a complaint from a parent who discovered inappropriate text messages and images on his 14-year-old’s phone,” Ivey said.
