DeQuincy police are searching for two men in relation to a shooting late Saturday.

Harlen Leewayne Cole, 20, and Trayvon Shemar Watson, 18, are wanted on charges of attempted second-degree murder, armed robbery,

theft over $500 and criminal conspiracy, said Tom Threet, a DeQuincy police detective.

The pair were part of a gang of five, all of DeQuincy, that robbed two people during a “dope deal gone bad,” Threet said. All five face the same charges.

Cole is 6-foot, 225 pounds and Watson is 5-foot-7, 160 pounds.

A 15-year-old boy believed to be the shooter was arrested Sunday, along with Damonte Davon Gillespie, 17, Threet said. The

15-year-old’s name is not being released because of his age. Gillespie's bond was set at $305,000.

Ashten L. Spikes, 19, was arrested late Tuesday. His bond was set at $655,000.

DeQuincy police were called to the emergency room at DeQuincy Memorial Hospital because of a shooting victim, Threet said.

Detectives learned that one of the people robbed knew all five of the suspects, he said. One person was shot, but has since

been released from the hospital, Threet said.

More people besides Cole and Watson may be arrested, he said.
