Crime Roundup: Sulphur man back in jail again

A 29-year-old Sulphur man has been arrested for the third time in six months and the fifth time since February 2012.

According to records from the Calcasieu Correctional Center, Kade Starbuck Henry was arrested Thursday morning at his home

at 2860 Dunne St.

Henry was charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and violations of protective orders. No bond was set.

Henry was arrested in February 2012 on a

domestic abuse battery charge. He was arrested again in October 2012

and charged

with two counts of aggravated assault, criminal mischief, simple

criminal damage to property under $500 and violation of protective

orders.

Henry was booked into the CCC on May 8 on charges of unauthorized use of a movable, resisting an officer, driving with a suspended license and direct contempt of court. All of the charges except resisting an officer were dropped or recalled.

He was released on July 26 and arrested again a few hours later and charged with violations of protective orders. Henry was released on Monday after that charge was rejected.

Lake Charles men face robbery, theft charges

Two Lake Charles men have been charged with simple burglary, unauthorized entry and theft under $500.

According to records from the Calcasieu Correctional Center, 18-year-old Matthew Brian Hogan, 3738 Heather Lane, and 20-year-old

Dillon Scott Johnson, 4911 Bay View Drive, were arrested this week.

Hogan, who was arrested Thursday afternoon, remained in jail Friday on a $105,000 bond.

Johnson, who was arrested on Monday, remained in jail Friday on a $2,000 bond.

Arrest Reports

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Jimuan Grant, 17, 617 E. School St. — domestic abuse battery, violations of protective orders. Bond: $5,000.

Corey Allen Labove, 23, 925 Williams Road, Vinton — five counts of simple burglary, three counts of motor vehicle theft, theft over $500.
