Baseball returns to Cowboy Diamond for its final regular season mid-week tonight, hosting Houston with first pitch set for 6:30 p.m.

McNeese (20-25, 7-14 Southland) was swept by Texas A&M-Corpus Christi this past weekend and sits eighth in the league standings. The Cougars (30-18, 9-9 C-USA) clinched a conference series over Tulane last weekend.

Right hander Jacob Williams (1-2, 5.86 ERA) is projected to start for McNeese. The Lake Charles native has pitched in 13 games and tossed 20 2/3 innings this season. Houston will counter with right hander Jake Lemoine (6-3, 3.40 ERA).””msu-logo-11-27-13
