Cowboys place Livings on non-football injury list

OXNARD, Calif. (AP) — The Dallas Cowboys have placed defensive tackle Jay Ratliff and guards Mackenzy Bernadeau and Nate Livings on injured lists before the opening workout of training camp.

Ratliff and Bernadeau were put on the physically-unable-to-perform list Sunday while Livings went on the non-football injury list.

There was no immediate word on their injuries. All three are projected starters.

Livings prepped at Washington-Marion in Lake Charles before a playing at LSU. He was signed by the Bengals as a free agent in 2006. The Cowboys signed he in March 2013. The 6-foot-4, 320-pound Livings has played in 69 games in the NFL with 63 starts.

The Cowboys signed offensive tackle Demetress Bell and wide receiver Lavasier Tuinei and placed them on the non-football injury list. Dallas also signed quarterback Alex Tanney of Monmouth.

Offensive lineman Ryan Cook, deep snapper Louis-Philippe Ladouceur and guard Ronald Leary also were placed on the non-football injury list.””
