The three men arrested after a police

chase in south Calcasieu Parish Sunday afternoon were all from Beaumont,

Texas, authorities

said.

Curtis Ray Garrett, 21, Edward Tezeno, 19, and Shawn David Dages, 21, were arrested by Louisiana State Police after a car

chase that ended with a collision with another vehicle and a foot chase.

All three were booked into Calcasieu

Correction Center Sunday. Garrett’s bond

was set at $6,600, Tezeno’s

at $4,700 and Dages at $4,100.

Tezeno and Dages bonded out of jail Monday.

All three face charges of aggravated flight from an officer, illegal possession of stolen firearms and refusing to submit

identification to an officer.

While Dages and Tezeno each face a total of four charges, Garrett, the driver of the vehicle, faces a total of 12 charges,

including negligent injuring, reckless operation and hit-and-run.

Louisiana State Police spokesman Albert

Paxton said authorities stopped a gold Chevy Impala driven by Garrett

on West Calcasieu-Cameron

Parish Line Road a little after 1 p.m.

The vehicle fled and on La. 385, Garrett lost control of the vehicle and collided with a blue Honda CR-V driven by 82-year-old

Marjorie Gray, Paxton said.

Gray sustained minor injuries, he said.

All three occupants fled the vehicle on foot. One was captured at 1:45 p.m. and the other around 2:15 p.m., Paxton said.

It was first reported that one of the men was immediately captured following the crash.
