BATON ROUGE (AP) — The last day to register to vote in the Nov. 6 presidential and other elections is Tuesday.
This registration deadline applies to new registrants as well as those who want to make changes to their registration information. New applicants must be at least 18 years old before Nov. 6 and citizens of the United States. Naturalized citizens must present their naturalization papers and birth certificate in person to register.
All registrants should bring proper identification such as a driver's license, birth certificate or other documentation that establishes age, identity and residency.
Residents can register at their local Registrar of Voters office.
