Authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify a man involved in an armed robbery at the Dollar General Store on La. 14.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesman James McGee said the man entered the store around 9:30 p.m. on March 28.
“The store clerk said the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money,” McGee said. “After stealing an undisclosed amount of money, the man fled the store on foot.”
McGee described the suspect as a light-skinned black man, between 25-30 years old and about 5-foot-10. The man had side burns and a thin mustache. The suspect was seen wearing prescription glasses, a grey hoodie, black jeans and black dew rag under a black baseball cap.
If anyone has any information about the robbery can contact the Sheriff’s Office at 491-3605 or Crimestoppers at 439-2222.
