Armored car company employee arrested in theft

BOSSIER CITY (AP) — An armored car company employee arrested for felony theft in Caddo Parish for stealing a deposit bag containing $60,000 now faces a similar charge in Bossier City.

Bossier City detectives arrested 34-year-old Robert S. Posey, of Waskom, Texas Wednesday on a charge of felony theft for stealing two deposit bags containing a combined total of $12,000 in cash.

Police say Posey, an employed with Loomis US, was initially arrested Tuesday by Caddo Parish deputies. Their investigation revealed that Posey had not only taken a deposit bag of money in their jurisdiction, but also allegedly stole two bags of money in Bossier City.

All three bags were located Tuesday inside a Bossier City home belonging to a relative of Posey.

It was unclear whether Posey has an attorney.
