ABBEVILLE (AP) — An Abbeville teenager faces murder charges after two brothers were shot and died from their wounds.
Police say the department received a call of "shots fired" just after 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Abbeville Police said witnesses to the
shooting pointed investigators to a 17-year-old suspect, who was booked
into the Vermilion
Parish Correctional Center on two counts of first-degree murder.
It was not immediately known if he has an attorney.
The victims' names were not released.
Police have not released a motive or details about what sparked the shootings.
