Jeffery L. Benoit, 50, has been arrested, but deputies are searching for Kimberly R. Smith, 32, Charles A. Simon, 38, and Kimberly D. Doucet, 24, said Kim Myers, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.
Benoit and Smith, both of 2010 Patton St., Lot 8; Simon, 728 W. Burton St.; and Doucet, 3903 Carlyss Drive, are all Sulphur residents.
Myers said the four got into an argument that turned physical, resulting in the victim being “knocked unconscious and continually beaten after falling to the ground.”
A family member tried to help the victim, but was also struck numerous times in the face, resulting in severe bruising and a facial fracture, she said.
Arrest warrants were issued for the four on Dec. 5, Myers said. Benoit’s bond was set at $42,500, she said. Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Smith, Simon or Doucet is asked to call 491-3605.
