Pregnant woman shot while sitting in car in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE (AP) — A 23-year-old pregnant woman was shot in the back and arm as she sat inside a car in Baton Rouge.
Police say it happened just after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities say the woman drove a few blocks after being hit and was found on Choctaw Road near Scenic Highway.
Cpl. L'Jean McKneely says the woman, whose name has not been released, was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Police say she's listed in stable condition at an area hospital.
Meanwhile police say the shooting suspect, a 26-year-old man, remains at large.
McKneely says the alleged shooter and the victim were arguing when the shooting occurred.
