Deputies in Bossier and Webster parishes have been looking for 46-year-old Ann Bond, missing since Thursday.

Her estranged husband, Robbie Bond, shot himself in the chin just after midnight Friday at an Interstate 10 rest area in Gautier, Miss., after police found him sleeping in his truck.

Police obtained a warrant for him after they found evidence at the couple’s house making then believe Ann Bond was dead.

Robbie Bond is hospitalized in Pascagoula.
