NATCHITOCHES (AP) — The Northwestern State women’s basketball program has added a new assistant to its coaching staff.

Co-head coaches Brooke and Scott Stoehr said Tuesday that Kasondra Foreman’s hiring is still subject to the approval of the Board of Supervisors of the University of Louisiana System.

Foreman played basketball at North Texas from 2010 to 2012 and won newcomer of the year her first seasons. She also played at Weatherford College, where she was named to the Dean’s List in 2009-10.

Brooke Stoehr says Foreman displayed tenacity on the court, has a lively personality and an ability to relate to anyone. Those qualities, she says, will benefit Northwestern State’s program on the recruiting trail.
