Two juveniles — ages 13 and 15 — have been arrested after allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint early in the morning on Jan. 1, authorities said.

Calcasieu Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said the youths were charged with armed robbery and resisting an officer by flight. The 13-year-old is also facing a weapon charge.

Myers said the juveniles took an undisclosed amount of money from a man at gunpoint on U.S. 171 near Graham Street and then fled on foot.

The gun was later found behind a laundromat, she said.
