Two facing charges following arrest in Jennings

JENNINGS — A Terrytown man and an Elton woman are facing numerous charges after being arrested on outstanding warrants Thursday in a local hotel, authorities said.

Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesman Christopher Ivey said Thomas Davis LaBouve Jr., 39, and Kyla J. Dupont, 27, were apprehended at the Budget Inn on La. 26.

He said both were wanted in Allen Parish in connection with an incident on Feb. 13.

Labouve will be charged with simple robbery, second-degree battery, theft and conspiracy to commit simple robbery.

Dupont will be charged with theft, simple robbery and criminal conspiracy to commit robbery.

Both were booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish jail.

No bond has been set.””
