Propellers will swirl for Helicopter Fly May 2-4

CARLYSS — The Lake Area Radio Kontrol Society will hold its 34th annual May Day Helicopter Fly on Thursday-Saturday, May 2-4, at Hinch Field, two miles west of Southland Aviation.

Flying will start at dawn and end at 10 p.m. The event will feature some of the best flyers in the world operating their radio-controlled model helicopters.

Bring your own chair. Refreshments will be on site. There will be face painting for children at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Parking and admission are free. Patrons who are disabled should call Bo Hinch at 515-1158 on arrival at the site, and someone will provide transportation to the large shaded canopy area. For more information, call Lynn Hinch at 540-0726.””
