Lake Charles woman charged with robbery, theft

City police said they have now arrested three of the six people allegedly involved in an armed robbery at an apartment on McNabb Street in Lake Charles.

A 17-year-old Lake Charles woman was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with armed robbery, armed robbery with a firearm and motor vehicle theft.

Two Lake Charles residents were arrested on Dec. 27 and charged with the same crimes.

Deputy Chief Mark Kraus said Tuesday that Megan Price, 1505 McNabb St., was arrested Jan. 12 on an outstanding warrant and her bond was set at $300,000.

Price’s capture comes weeks after 19-year-old Disha Deshawn Hayes and 20-year-old Albert Zachary Jenkins were arrested at Hayes’ apartment at 1505 McNabb St.

Hayes was charged with armed robbery, armed robbery with a firearm and motor vehicle theft. Her bond was set at $50,000.

Jenkins, 1521 Tennessee St., was charged with two counts of armed robbery, two counts of armed robbery with a firearm and motor vehicle theft. His bond was set at $325,000.

The suspects allegedly robbed two victims at gunpoint after luring them into the apartment.””
