Two Lake Charles residents have been arrested and are facing numerous robbery charges, city police said.

Deputy Chief Mark Kraus said 19-year-old Disha Deshawn Hayes and 20-year-old Albert Zachary Jenkins were arrested Dec. 27 at Hayes’ home at 1505 McNabb St.

Hayes has been charged with armed robbery, armed robbery with a firearm and theft of a motor vehicle. Her bond was set at $50,000.

Jenkins, 1521 Tennessee St., was charged with two counts of armed robbery, two counts of armed robbery with a firearm and motor vehicle theft. His bond was set at $325,000.

Kraus said Hayes and Jenkins were two of the six people who robbed two victims at gunpoint after luring them into Hayes’ apartment.
