After going to a local business with another person April 9, 2012, Ary test drove a vehicle, prosecutor Bobby Holmes said in reading the facts of the case.

Ary returned to the business after the drive, entered the office and brandished a firearm, Holmes said.

Ary struck the victim in the head and took his wallet, Holmes said.

“Is that what happened?” Ware asked Ary.

“Yes, your honor,” Ary replied.

He is to be sentenced Dec. 16.

“I’ve learned my lesson, I’ve learned a lot through this situation,” Ary told Ware.

Ary said he had lost his reputation in his vocation and had nearly lost his children because of the incident.

Ary had no prior felony convictions, Holmes said.””
