Lake Area Pressure Washing LLC is a full-service pressure washing company, which cleans the exterior of the largest buildings to the smallest houses. After 12 years in business, the company is experienced in the use of lifts of all types and sizes for large jobs.

“I started in the yard business many years ago as a young boy,” said Bryan Lavoi, owner. “People that I mowed grass for began to ask me to wash their houses and from there I moved strictly into power washing.”

Now, the company does many residential and commercial jobs, including health care facilities, shopping centers, banks and restaurants.

What are the newest trends in power washing?

Like many other business, the trend is to go green. We do this by using biodegradable cleaners as often as possible. We also have the ability to recover the water we use and recycle it when necessary. We also try to avoid using chemicals when we clean concrete by using hot water.

What chemicals do you use?

When chemicals are necessary, we use biodegradable products where possible. Sometimes we use degreasers on concrete to help remove surface oils. When cleaning buildings, we use buffered solutions.

What are your prices?

Generally, our prices are based on the square footage of the surface to be washed and additional items needed such as lifts. I always look at the job before giving a price, and quotes are free.

What causes the build-up on buildings? What is the build-up?

Most of the buildup on buildings is mildew, cobwebs, dirt, grime, etc. On concrete, we usually see a lot of dirt, and in public areas, gum is a real problem.

What are some prevention tips?

There is no real way to prevent grime and mildew, but sweeping down cobwebs regularly will discourage spiders and they may even move on.
