The Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office will take part National Prescription Drug Take Back Day 8 a.m.-  p.m. Saturday, April 22.

Expired, unused and unwanted prescription medications can be dropped off for disposal at the Sheriff’s Office at 1530 Hwy. 90 west in Jennings.

The service is free to the public.

The initiate provides a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposal of prescription drugs, while also educating the public about the potential for abuse of medications.
